About the SESHA • Formed in 1978 as SSA- Semiconductor Safety Association • Dedicated to communication and education on EH&S issues in high technology industries • Approximately 1000 members • Membership is from both the US and international locations • Name change to SESHA to better represent all aspects of the profession

SESHA Annual Symposium • Annual symposium for sharing of EH&S information related to high tech industries • Concurrent EH&S sessions and round tables • Professional Development Courses • Vendor area • Numerous SESHA related meetings • Student involvement • Networking • SESHA ‘06 is April 18-22 at the Marriott, Santa Clara, CA

  4. SESHA e-Journal • Available in electronic form on-line to SESHA members through the SESHA web page • Membership submits articles to share issues, breakthroughs, results • Excellent reference material • Scholarship winners have their papers published

  5. SESHA Regional Activities • Active regions include Northern California, Southern California, Texas Hill Country, Boston, Mid Atlantic, Phoenix , Murray State • Monthly to quarterly meetings • Region newsletters • Seminars • Support of academic activities

  6. SESHA Academic Program • Scholarship program • Ten $1,500 scholarships given annually • Scholarship papers presented at the SESHA conference • Rooms made available at conference to scholarship students • Lecture tours given at each school
