VISITS TO MUSEUMS and EXCURSIONS in CLIL • They MAKE IT POSSIBLE THE USE OF EVERYDAY ENGLISH IN PRACTICAL SITUATIONS • It is an opportunity for the students to PRESENT THE ACTIVITY IN ENGLISH • It is most important the PRESENCE OT THE TEACHER OF ENGLISH • These activitiesMUST / SHOULD BE INCLUDEDIN JOURNEYS ABROAD • … AND IN THE EXCHANGE PROGRAMMES WITH SCHOOLS FROM ABROAD.

  3. Hint for students: how to enjoy science Excursion to the gypsum vein CONTENT • evaporitic minerals and their origin, salinity of sea water • Inorganic chemistry. Salts: solubility, solutions, precipitation, crystallization • Relation with the territory: building material, art • Environment and preservation: parks • A little about history of earth science Flora and fauna, adaptation of species And, of course: geologyat its best ! An outstanding example of geological significace

  4. Interdisciplinary paths • Technical education in first grade secondary schools: use of gypsum in the past and today • Artin both first and second grades seconadary schools: achitectural features of buildings, history of art • History: the medioeval city
