  3. History • Inspired by NACADA presentation (1986) • By-laws adopted (2003) • Support by Office of Undergraduate Education • Direct appropriation of $5,000 from Provost

  4. UK Advising Network Mission • Promote quality academic advising at the University of Kentucky. • Support the professional growth of academic advisors at UK. • Facilitate cooperation and exchange of information among persons who perform advising functions.

Research • Surveyed membership • 38 respondents Measuring our mission • Promotes quality academic advising at the University of Kentucky: 86.1% excellent or above average • Supports the professional growth of academic advisors at UK: 83.8% • Facilitates cooperation and exchange of information among advisors at UK: 97.4%
