Optimizing Bid-Directed Apoptosis with GFP and Red Fluorescent Protein Vectors

This study explores the efficacy of bid-directed apoptosis using genetically encoded fluorescent proteins such as GFP and dsRed. Through the utilization of LTR vectors, we investigate the expression patterns of p17 and p24 proteins in apoptotic pathways. We employ propidium iodide staining to assess cell viability and fluorescence imaging to visualize the interactions between the proteins. Our findings could enhance the understanding of apoptosis at the molecular level and provide insights for therapeutic applications in cancer research.
