  1. TVF&R and WCSO Respond to Recent Fires Over the past couple of months, Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue and the Washington County Sheriffs’ Office have responded to a series of small fires in the Royal Villas community. Until the cause of these fires is determined, Firefighters and Deputies will increase their night-time presence in Royal Villas. (We do not recommend that residents conduct night-time patrols of the neighborhood.) During this time, Royal Villas residents should take the following measures: • Be on the lookout for anything suspicious • Leave exterior lights on over-night • Remove combustibles around your home (flags, seat cushions, newspapers, etc.) • Secure and lock vehicles • Call 911: • You see a fire • You feel that your safety or property is being threatened • You see someone acting in a manner that appears to threaten life or property • Call 503-629-0111 (non-emergency dispatch number ): • You find evidence of an extinguished fire that is not burning • You find evidence that someone has tried to start a fire • You notice any suspicious activity that does not immediately threaten life or property • When in doubt – Call 911
