Romanian Municipalities facing poverty “Social Ambulance” • Medical assistance for disadvantaged persons; • Prevention of illness, maintaining health and precocious hunting out of illness at persons exposed to social marginalization; • Improving social assistance activities, by multiplying the services offered to citizens; • Decreasing the number of applications for social institutionalization; • Decreasing the number of illness due to old age, solitude and poverty; • Maintaining and improving the physical capacities of assisted persons; • Reducing the hospitalization costs; • Prevention of physical and social degradation of single and dependent persons.

Romanian Municipalities facing poverty • Giurgiu Social Inclusion Complex Center General objective is to create and develop a network of communitarian complex services for counseling, practical preparation and professional orientation for youth and adults with in partnership with mental health problems, for an easier access on labor market. - Free services for psychological, psychiatric, legal, social, occupational, and vocational counseling - Participation to therapeutic activities or other types of activities.

Specific objective: Identification of target groups’ needs, services providing plan, information services and professional orientation, practical methodology for creating and operating social companies, Business Center for Social Economy.
