  2. Verbs with reflexive pronouns Pronouns go before the conjugated verb or can attach to the infinitive With body parts and clothing items use the definite article: el, la, los, las I bathe. Yo me baño. I bathe Jenna. Yobaño a Jenna. Jenna puts on make-up. Jenna se maquilla. They want to wash their hair. Ellosquierenlavarse el pelo. or Ellos se quierenlavar el pelo.

  3. Using infinitives • Pronouns can attach to infinitives. • Acabar + de + infinitive --- to have just Ex. Yoacabo de estudiar. I just studied or I just finished studying. • antes de + infinitive ---- before Ex. antes de comer ---- before eating después de + infinitive ---- after Ex. después de correr ----- after running para + infinitive ----- in order to Ex. paranadar ---- in order to swim

  4. Stem changing verbs encontrar (ue) --- to find acostarse (ue) --- to go to bed vestirse (i) ---- to get dressed despertarse (ie) --- to wake up mantenerse (ie) en forma --- to stay in shape
