13. Letter of Commitment & Elos School Standard Schools sign–up to working towards implementing the Elos School Standard over a period of 3 years. General criteria: • enabling students to develop ‘Europe competence’ through the school curriculum & activities abroad • embedding the Elos goals in school curriculum & school policy • building staff competence & institutional capacity • involvement in international exchange activities (real or virtual) • monitoring & evaluating

14. Elos Schools • Following approval by the national coordinator/national advisory panel, schools can use the general Elos School logo • Schools receive a National School manual and guidance & support from the Elos national coordinator • Schools can apply for an Elos School Accreditation (evidence of 80% of the criteria in the Standard) • A transnational quality assurance system will be put in place to ensure transparency in national procedures & mutual compatibility.
