Connection to Systems: • URINARY- When bladder is full, nerves tell bladder to release urine. • RESPRITORY-nervous system monitors and controls the amount of oxygen taken in by the respiratory system. • CARDIOVASCULAR-nerves send nervous impulses to tell the blood cells where to transport the oxygen in the blood

  4. Connection to Systems: • ENDOCRINE- Both systems maintain homeostasis, reproduction, and development • DIGESTIVE-interacts with the nervous system by providing building blocks for neurotransmitters • IMMUNE-interacts with the nervous system by reserving stress hormones that stop the protective effects of antibodies

  9. Ear: • Interprets sound for brain • 3 parts: • 1-Outer: called the pinna and gathers sound • 2-Middle: transfers sound waves into vibrations • 3-Inner: contains the cochlea and turns vibrations into nerve impulses http://www.squidoo.com/otosclerosis
