  11. This Month’s Challenge • Email challenge: Whichever team sends out the most emails soliciting donations by the next meeting wins the challenge & 20 prize points!

Email Donations: uploading your address book GMAIL: -Click on contacts -Click the drop down arrow beside More actions -Click Export -All contacts should be selected, as well as Outlook CSV format -Save to desktop -Go to www.jmurelay.com & log in -Click My participant Center -Click Email & then Upload contacts ( on the right side bar) -Click Import address book & follow the steps prompted OR browse to your desktop & upload the CSV format of your contacts that you exported

Email Donations:personalizing your email templates -Log into www.jmurelay.com & click on My Participant Center -Click Email -Under the subject line of the email, click Use a Template -Select the type of email you would like to personalize (solicit gifts, recruit team members, thank you, other) -Click on the email, and edit the text -When you are finished editing, click Save as Template at top of page above Send to: box (Hint: Edit the subject of the email to something easy to remember, like Help me fight back- personal ask!)

Personal Page: making it personal - Log into www.jmurelay.com & click on My participant center -Click on My Personal Page -You can edit the URL, title of your page, page content, picture, and add a video (Hint: add your personal reason to Relay. Personalized emails & pages bring in an average of $13 more than those not personalized!) -Make sure to save frequently! -Suggestions for personal page:     --your reason to Relay     --picture of yourself or the person you Relay for     --add some color!     --write your fundraising goals!     --a signature after your message (ex: Love, John)     --video...new this year!     --instructions how to donate online (click Donate) and offline (address to send checks, checks payable to American Cancer Society with your name in the memo)

  22. Fundraising • Chili’s Spirit Night - Wednesday, October 13 - ALL DAY!! Bring Relay flyer and 10% of your check goes to Relay For Life • Water Bottle Challenge- fill up a water bottle with dimes and you will have raised $100 • You can earn 2 points for bringing in a bottle filled with dimes or 5 points for bringing in the dimes rolled/turned into cash to next months meeting (November 15) • Dona Rosa Spirit Week- October 18-22, 10% of your check will go to Relay For Life (print flyer from www.jmurelay.com)

  23. Team Fundraisers • Each team should do at least 1 fundraiser per year • The bigger, the better! • Let us know when you have a fundraiser, and we’ll advertise it for you! • Email: JMURelay@gmail.com
