What causes Day and night? • The earth rotates on its axis , making one full turn every 24 hours • Half of the planet is being exposed to the sun while the other half is deprived of light
What causes the seasons? • In the northern hemisphere which is the part of earth that is north of equator • When the northern hemisphere is tilted toward the sun it is probably winter
Phases of the Moon It takes about a month for the moon to change its phases.
Earths Trip around the sun • It takes 365 days to go around the sun • Earth goes around the sun on an orbit • Earths orbit is shaped like an eclipse
