Word Structure day 5 Line 1 Line 2 Line 3 Line 4 • Choose a word from the first two word lines, and without saying which word it is, give the definition of it. • Another student tell which word from the word lines the first student defined and then use the word in a sentence. • Give clues for the words on the last two word lines, and have students respond with the correct word. • Choose a word from the board and use it in a simple sentence. Another student extend the sentence by telling more –why, where, how, when, or who.
