  5. The CO2 back-up system • Cumbersome, fires rarely, not écolo (~100 l/h continuous CO2 flow) • Decided to keep it anyway (O2) • Replace CO2 by N2 ? • ... C. Garabatos, GSI

  6. Concerns with bubblers • Bubblers produce pressure fluctuations of several mbar • Bubblers may produce an increasing overpressure with increasing flow (~10 l/h) • Bubblers may spill oil into the detector • Design our own! C. Garabatos, GSI
