What is CDC (Career Discovery Camp)? • A 4-day, 2-night event designed specifically for university MS/PhD students: • Gain valuable insights and a broad perspective of industrial careers • Develop a deeper understanding of the reality and challenges at workplace. • Learn how to prepare to have a successful industrial career. • Meet successful business and technology leaders. • Engage in technical discussions and brainstorming to solve real problems and conceive new ideas. • Enhance language, communication, presentation, and teamwork skills. • Network and Have Fun !!

  4. CDC in the Past & Present • An annual event, entering its 7th year since 2008 • Event scale has been expanded in terms of number of campers, target universities, etc.

  12. 2014 CDC • CDC CandidatesA total of 36 campers will be selected through open application. • Requirements: • Is currently enrolled as a Master or PhD student with science, engineering, and related training/background in Taiwan. • Has the curiosity and desire to learn. • Is willing to actively participate in and contribute to all camp projects, discussions, and activities.

  13. 2014 CDC • Time & Place: • May 5: DuPont Taiwan Innovation Center, Hsinchu • May 15-17: Sunset Beach Resort, Sizihwan, Kaohsiung (西子灣沙灘會館) • Freeprogram (lessons, seminars, etc.), accommodation (room &board), and transportation (shuttle from Hsinchu THSR and Kaohsiung Railway Stations) • Co-hosted by: 欣興電子 台灣杜邦

How to Apply? • Go to www.dupont.com.tw to download the application form. • Complete the application form and submit it to Ms. Claire Chang (claire.chang@dupont.com) • Record a 3- to 5-minute video(in English) to introduce yourself and why you should be selected. Send you video resume to the Dropbox web and provide your dropbox link in the application. • The application deadline is 08:00 March 17 and the final camper list will be released in early April. • Early application is highly recommended and will be treated favorably. A “Rolling Admission” process will be used.
