  1. Development of HEND data products for Planetary Data Base  Workshop “The First year of HEND operations on the NASA Odyssey Mars Orbiter” Moscow, Russia May 20-22, 2002 Russian Aviation and Space Agency Institute for Space Research

  2. Receiving of data • Real time or near real transmission trough socket interface • Getting missing data from GRS Web site trough Query Tools • Getting missing data from GRS server Russian Aviation and Space Agency Institute for Space Research

  3. Storage of data • Binary data files created by CEB • Database level 1 • Ceb header (time correspondence between HEND time and UTC) • HEND header (HV,Discriminators,Anticoncidence, Burst thresholds, temperatures) • HEND data (spectra, time profiles) • Database level 2 • Efficiency for each detector as function of energy and falling angle • Channel calibrations • Spectra stability as function of temperatures Russian Aviation and Space Agency Institute for Space Research

  4. Presentation of data • First level • Time profile and Spectra in counts • Maps of neutron flux as registered on the • Second level • Using Efficiency for each detector to deconvolve counts in neutrons for spectra and maps • Creating maps of neutrons as seen near the surface taking into account spacecrat model, height of orbit, atmosphere Russian Aviation and Space Agency Institute for Space Research

  5. Creation of public available data • Creation time profiles of bursts by request from IPN • It is done as real process • Creation neutron maps in counts • Subtract background • Creation of maps for different periods of time for different detectors in different • Creation data for tables in global database Russian Aviation and Space Agency Institute for Space Research
