  2. Major Organs… Brain and Spinal Cord The major organs of the nervous system are the Brain and spinal chord.

  3. Function.. The nervous system serves as a command center. The brain controls all actions and reactions. The spinal cord helps transfers signals from the brain to the rest of the body.

  4. The nervous system works well with the endocrine system. The nervous system gives commands to the endocrine system to release certain hormones.

  5. How the nervous system works.. The nervous system is made up of neurons which transfer information in the form of electric signals. Those commands travel through the spinal cord to the rest of your body.
