  2. Setting Fin, Matthew, and Johanna’s parents are making smores ,in Johanna’s house, at night, in the in the fireplace, on the living room wall. The smoke is turning the house murky grey. After Finn and Matthew ate their smores they passed out on the living room floor. If Johanna’s house wasn’t right next to Finn's house, then none of the story will probably happen and Finn would have a non social summer.

  4. Conflict The main conflict in the story is that Finn, Matthew, and Johanna have to raise Ten Thousand dollars for breast cancer awareness. The conflict is man vs. man, man vs. self, and man vs. society.

  5. Summary of Plot Finn, Matthew, and Dylan meet a girl named Johanna Jackson. They find out that Johanna is a breast cancer survivor and is going through chemo. Finn and Matthew start helping Johanna raise money for breast cancer awareness and the Triathlon that Johanna is in. When Johanna gets sick Finn and Matthew take her place in the Triathlon. After the Triathlon Johanna, Finn, and Matthew have a huge party flooding Johanna’s house and yard and Finn’s yard.

  7. Point of View The point of view is in first person. If the story was in third person the story would be boring. You won’t know what anyone is thinking or you would know everything that everyone is saying and it would be confusing.

  8. Symbolism Johanna symbolizes faith. Evan when times are tough, if you have faith, there is always a way out. In the story Johanna always looked toward the future.

  9. Recommendation I would recommend this book the kids, teens, and adults. I would recommend this book because it is funny, it has a realistic plot, and great characters. I like how realistic the plot is and how it could happen to anyone.
