  2. Lesson Objectives • Develop the ability to assess and mark our own work and then to use this skill to assess another students marking. • Develop the ability to give positive and helpful feedback to another student about their marking.

  3. Assessment • We must be honest, accurate, fair and consistent • There is nothing to be gained if we do not assess thoroughly and correctly • We must also record our assessment correctly • There is nothing to be gained by cheating

  4. Feedback • Feedback should always start with positive points and praise • When we talk about improvements or corrections we should not be too critical • When improvements are made our mark for our work will increase

  5. Tasks • Get your coursework folders • Open up the marking spreadsheet in Subjects Drive, OCR Nationals, Unit 23, Unit 23 Student tracking spreadsheet - merit • Save it in your documents • Look at A03 first, then A04 • Start your assessment
