About us & the project • Project: • funded by the LTSN GC • based at University of Warwick • Team: • Jay Dempster, Peter Jackson, CAP, Warwick • Frances Deepwell, CHED, Coventry University • Review of generic ICT-related national projects: • 6 TLTP3, 1 FDTL3, 3 SCOTCIT • Success factors in embedding new practices: • activities, organisation, networks, links, impact, support • Knowledge to inform and assist others: projects, institutions, programmes, partners, funding bodies • Innovation  embedding = TRANSFERABILITY

  4. Transferability 1. LTSN funding: PROJECTS • Review successful embedding • Analyse experiences, factors, approaches • Consult with stakeholders: funding bodies, support organisations, institutional academic developers • Offer a framework of approaches for embedding innovation from development 2. TLTP3 transferability funding: INSTITUTIONS • Review of structures and processes in 7 universities • Analysis against current strategies & objectives • Share and discuss case studies arising • Plan of action for building capacity for: • responding to innovation • evaluating own structures and practices • embedding effective new learning and teaching

Purpose of the consultation • Explore national and programme issues • in the light of the review and analysis of a selection of national projects • Consider what is helpful • for both projects and institutions with respect to national support and programme management • Extract a set of good practices • with national bodies to inform future funding programmes, project and institutional support • Determine issues and recommendations • to form a consultation paper for funding councils and other stakeholders.
