  6. When we don’t evangelize • 1. Christians wither, and are cut off for not bearing fruit - Jn 15:1-8 • 2. Churches are removed from their relationship with the Lord, and die - cf. Re 2:1-5; 3:1-2

  10. In Acts, God used all kinds of people • Peter, a fisherman • Gamaliel, a Pharisee • Paul, a persecutor • Joseph (Barnabas), a landowner • Crispus, synagogue ruler • Ethiopian eunuch, a foreign employee • Lydia, a businesswoman • Many, many unnamed disciples!

  11. You don’t have to be a ‘Peter’ or ‘Paul’ • God’s timing is much better than our timing • God’s methods are much better than our methods • Let God use you in his time, but let him know you want to be used

  12. What will it take? • Encouragement from God (2x) • Encouragement from each other (6x) Kahit sino KAYA, basta’t may encouragement from God and from the family of God!

Luke-Acts Final Exam • Take home exam. 60 points total. • Honesty system – no notes, finish within 1hr • Answer in English, Tagalog, or Taglish • Just review all notes & all lessons from Luke and Acts series; review Luke Quiz and Acts Surprise Quiz (reviewer already emailed to BTLs) • Be ready for short essay questions: e.g. Magbigay ng mga dahilan kung bakit dapat tayong mag-evangelize; Paano mas magiging Spirit-led ang iyong Bible Talk?

  15. D-group time • Round 1: Remember a time when someone encouraged you (whether Pasig region or elsewhere). I-share mo ito sa grupo. • Round 2: Encourage and share your vision with the person on your left. (e.g. “Bro/sis, nakikita ko na ikaw ay _______________ . I believe that you will/can be ____________________.”
