  4. Trains, Planes, and Autos • *We will look at how transportation has changed over the years.

  5. Technology • *We will discuss the role that technology has played over the years and how that has developed our community.

  6. The People of Long Ago • *The age difference. • *The height difference • *What they did for work

  7. Schools of Long Ago • *The age that children completed their schooling. • *One room school houses or at home schooling

  8. Moving Forward in Transportation • *Trains • *Covered wagons and other horse draw wagons. • *Walking

  9. Telegraphs to Computers • *Writing telegrams • *The Pony Express • *Computers • *Palm Pilots

  10. So Why do we Study the Past? • *From the past we can learn to help our future. • *We can appreciate where we came from and how we have evolved. • *To realize that through the years, one thing has stayed the same…The Human Dream.
