Ready, Set, Pick Your City… • Climate and Meteorology Project Instructions: • Each team member selects a global location (city from any where around the world). • Complete the weather station map on the 4th slide by listing the six components of weather. • Each team member researches the 7 day weather forecast for that location on the 6th slide. Each box should Include: • Weather Model • Temperature (High and Low) • Precipitation • Wind Speed • Each team member recommends tips for citizens based on the weather conditions and insert an image of your city on the 7th slide. • Share the information with your group. • Combine all of the information to create one final product to turn in to your teacher. Include images, and be creative. Tips Use www.weather.com or other reliable weather site for your research. You will have to cite your sources. (**Fill in your partner(s) information here as well.)
Example of what to look for at www.weather.com 1. Type in your city in Search Box Record: temperature, cloud cover,wind speed and wind direction, pressure, and dew point 2. Click “Open Weather Details” for all the information you’ll need to view.

What slides should be saved? 1.) Your ENTIRE project 2.) Slide #10 you got back from your partner(s); (your partner(s) evaluation; which is Part 2 of the project) PLUS a copy of the slide #10 you did for your partner(s). 3.) Slides 4, 6, and 7 from your PARTNER(s) project – Just add them to the very end of your project.
