Latino viewbook • The Hispanic population continues to grow in Kentucky and so does their focus on degree attainment: • All but 12 Kentucky counties saw their Hispanic populations grow since 2000, and in more than a third of counties, Hispanic numbers at least doubled. • In Fayette and Jefferson counties, the Hispanic population more than doubled. Fayette County's Hispanic population cracked 20,000, nearly 7 percent of the county's total 295,803. • Local analysts say Hispanic immigration to Kentucky has stabilized recently. A more permanent population means more children in schools and churches, and more need for business and government services, advocates say.

Parent brochure • Project Assignment: • Develop an effective recruitment brochure specifically targeted to parents of prospective students. • Help answer parents’ questions about our KCTCS colleges and show them that a KCTCS college is a smart choice. • Research: • Focus groups conducted at System Office & Big Sandy • Parents are very involved in the process • Transfer a primary concern • Costs, quality of education and advising high on the list
