Year 1’s visit to the Toby Carvery. Do you like to eat your five a day?. We walked down to the Bull’s Head and when we arrived we put on our chef’s hat and started to colour our pictures for the colouring competition. The winners got various prizes!!!.

  1. Year 1’s visit to the Toby Carvery Do you like to eat your five a day?

  2. We walked down to the Bull’s Head and when we arrived we put on our chef’s hat and started to colour our pictures for the colouring competition. The winners got various prizes!!!

  3. Then we had to work as a team to identify ten different kinds of fruit and vegetables.

  4. We played some team games with balloons. If we let go, the balloons floated up to the ceiling. It is a good job Mrs Vorley and Mrs Marsden were tall.

  5. The children who won the colouring competition were Holly and Harry. Holly’s prize was to choose a teacher to dress up and play a game. She chose Mrs Marsden. Harry’s prize was to give Mrs Marsden different food and she had to guess what it was by taste or touch.

  6. Then it was time to eat. We had to line up and wait to be served. We were careful not to touch the hot surfaces.

  7. We ate loads and loads and were full up. We staggered back ready for afternoon school.
