  2. When there is interoperability, everybody win: the market grows. Interoperability is essential If the providers are protecting themselves, our life gets more complicated. All the products names and companies are registered brands ot the respectives companies.

  3. I have my own ERP. @ I want that my clients use my corporative website. My agents use PDAs for making orders. They are in a marketplace Technology should not influence in our strategy. He wants to send directly the orders from his ERP. We need standards.

  4. Do we need only standards? There are other difficulties to solve. • How can we manage for putting together standards, interoperability, customisation & integration? • The long time that is required for achieving a sectoral standard vs SMEs needs: shorter times with tangible objectives • How to involve a critical mass of companies? • policies problems? • trust problems? • awareness problems? • training problems? • technological problems (complex and expensive)? • resources problems? • ....
