  1. Notes From First Grade January 12, 2010 Ms. Duerr Dear Parents – Please keep sight words list in folder. On Fridays I will test students and highlight the words that they missed. Please study those words and the new list for the following week. • MATH: • Telling time to the hour and half hour. Language Arts: *sight words- new lists are in your daily folder. Please do not remove the sheet. Blends-pr, tr, dr, br. *Strategies to understand what we read. ****We need glue sticks. Please donate some for our class if you can. Science: *We will continue investigating light and shadows. Reminders: I still need glue sticks. Conferences are the last week in January. (25-29). Classes will be dismissed 2 hours early during that week. Science Fair Application deadline has been moved to Friday January 15th, 2010. Jan. 15- Family Fun Night - Bowling Jan. 18- No School
