  3. “Because the Bible Says So” • An universal of circular reasoning is debates about religious morals, such as abortion and homosexual marriage. • The most common retaliation to these arguments from Christians or other religious denominations it “Because the bible says so”. • This is an example of circular reasoning because it they are constantly giving the same argument, going back and forth.

  4. Begging The Question/ Circular Reasoning • Act 1 Page 185: Rebecca: Goody Ann! You sent a child to conjure up the dead? Mrs. Putnam: Let God blame me, not you, not you, Rebecca! I’ll not have judging me anymore! Is it natural work to lose seven children before they live a day? • This is considered circular reasoning because Mrs. Putnam is accusing the loss of her children on a supernatural occurrence without any actual proof.
