Current Website • based on design from 2004 • web-based content management • centralized layout management • several features embedded which never were used: • nobody ever wrote any word than just me • nobody even tried to • no interaction on site • hidden features / doc mgmt nobody ever engaged into nobody ever asked for it • the only concern next to layout update: • “widen the layout for large screens” • “why don’t we have galleries” ACI Website Improvement Project, 2010 Proposal New opportunities

Clubs change: hierarchy vs. decentralized • A very known setup: • National big clubs, • regional organisations, • local groups • had dominated the “scene” for years. • New trend forming since 2-3 years: • small groups, almost autark, no club, • email communications, town meetings • 24h access to spare parts via internet • one-click access to global knowledge • specialized internet forums rule. • Example: 379 Citroen • How do we support ACI visibility • and also embrace new generations?   23. Next Steps - Website Improvement • Implementation: • Almost all content is on the new site • Launch these days, when back from AGM • So – think new ways of communication.
