  2. WHAT IS IT ? • Educational project aimed to teach how to gain financial resources from the EU Funds more efficiently • Target group: Officials working at all levels of public administration in Visegrad countries EX2

  3. WHY ? • Inefficiency in getting money from the EU to Visegrad countries • Lack of practical knowledge • Available sources (2007 – 2013): 31 billion € for the Czech Republic 32 billion € for Hungary 87 billion € for Poland 14 billion € for Slovakia EX2

  4. OUR AIMS • Bringing professionals from old member states, who have more experience with successful applications • Provide V4 officials with new skills in absorbing money from the EU Funds • Possibility of creating networks of cooperation for experts from V4 countries EX2

  5. THE PROJECT • 9 days • 6 participants from each V4 country (two from each – local, regional and national level) • 6 experts (3 from Spain, 3 from Ireland) • Lectures (theory) + workshops (practice) EX2
