  3. The Story so Far....... Since 2002, TFN has brought together approx. 6,000 donors at over 180 events to raise over £5.8millionfor 800 charitable projects. TFN’s impact includes: • influencing lawmakers • changing behaviour and social norms • piloting solutions to social problems • improving lives at community, national and international levels • educating all donors • nurturing new philanthropists.

  5. & our charities ORG’s work attracts international coverage MAC-UK wins Social Enterprise Award HealthProm commended by BBC

  6. Influencing lawmakers & public policy: No Fire Zone (funded July) prompts David Cameron to ask ‘serious questions’ in Sri Lanka

  7. Changing social norms: Orchid Project and partners helped 5500 Senegalese communities to abandon Female Genital Cutting

  8. Trialling new solutions to pressing problems: ColaLife’s lifesaving pods in Coca Cola crates won awards in 2013 from the UN Foundation and others

  9. Improving lives and supporting communities: Busoga Trust’s new wells provided 3,910 people with access to safe water in Uganda

  10. Nurturing young philanthropists:Youth TFN launched in Oxford (and has now raised £80k for 41 charities!)

  11. Educating philanthropists of all ages: TFN’s Families Event featured pitches and pledges from people aged 8 - 80!

  12. Leveraging innovative collaborations: with Channel 4 BRITDOC, Battersea Arts Centre, Watts Gallery and Community Foundations to discover new projects

  13. TFN International Key TFN Events 2012/13 – Toronto, New York, Belfast, Bulgaria, Romania, Cape Town, Johannesburg, Sydney, Melbourne & Perth TFN Plans for 2013/14 – Sweden, Germany, Czech Republic, Serbia, Turkey & Singapore

  14. Spreading our model overseas:Our first ever events with partners in Australia, South Africa, Romania , USA – and soon Serbia - raised over £260,000 for 40 charities
