  2. Purpose • ”how to implement and use tablets such as iPads in the learning process, in order to create a more interactive learning environment and add further development to the already implemented use of e-learning sessions”.

  3. Project description • Creating new flexible students by usingiPads • Technological and internationallycompetent • Reduce the use of paper and books • IÉSEG as a trailblazer in E-learning

The concrete project of OpenIÉSEG • The OpenIÉSEG project will, in association with Apple and the Ministry of Culture and Communications, provide (on a trial basis) the entire student body of the IÉSEG campus in Paris with a IPad tablet. • This tablet will be the students primary work tool and will in time become the hub from were all interaction within and around the school will be conducted.

  6. Budget guestimation • Commercial sponsorship by Apple will provide 50% • Public funding from the French Government will provide 20% • 20% will be provided from the European Union • Private funding from the already existing sponsor of IÉSEG will provide 10%
