Effect of Rainfall on Tree Stability • The objectives of this study are • To determine the infiltration characteristics of soil and hydrological conditions of instrumented sites. • To determine the effects of rainfall pattern and soil properties on the anchorage of trees. • To develop models to identify the threshold values of soil water content. • To develop recommendations and guidelines to minimize tree failure due to uprooting under conditions of prolonged high water content in soil.
