A way to escape depression,
Music knows me beyond recognition.
Like coming back to reality, When I’m in my own insanity.
A way to show emotion,
Not a robot by any notion.
Like trying to say I love you,
to someone you know isn’t true.
Akin to a family get together,
Music and me we’re birds of a feather.
Saturday mornings cartoons are on,
after my morning routine,
A bowl of Cocoa Puffs and milk,
T.V as loud as party people,
yet with a crunchy consistency.
Singing along with the theme song,
a symphony of slurps and crunches,
My mouth makes while in a trance,
CARTOONS AND CEREAL
Today was good
But not as good as it could
I know it wasn’t that great
But maybe ‘cause I sit and wait.
A day comes with lies,
But I know where the truth hides.
Why should I dare
If the day doesn’t want to care
A day can be cloaked in hope.
Where there is no hope to cope
But it does not hurt to give
And I continue to live.
Its hard to be good,
Like trying to get of nicotine cigarettes.
Its easy to be bad,
Like eating a whole pack of cookies.
Its hard to be honest,
As living a fake LYFE.
Its easy to lie,
As like eating at midnight.
LYFE Is not hard or easy,
Like taking test.
Or… just pray….and let God
Do the REST.
I’m in the mood for dude food,
something yummy, creamy for my tummy.
Hunger grows and shows I'm skinny as a hose,
shall I have greens or ice cream every kids dream!
Many choices yet, still noises and grumbles,
My stomach aches and shakes in pain that abstains sweets.
Yet the brain will crave and take what ever
The tummy is the judge the jury and justice of what goes in.
