  13. DEOMI Campus Fast Facts The DEOMI campus is a Florida Mediterranean style structure located along the Banana River on Patrick Air Force Base in central Florida. Most of the common-use areas (auditorium, library, computer lab) were placed toward the front of the building for easy access. One exception is the break areas. Both student and staff lounges were put in the rear of the building in order to take advantage of the river view. Staff and faculty work areas were located throughout the structure based on function, student accessibility and convenience to the small group rooms. This state-of-the-art educational design has helped facilitate a 20% increase in pupils, raising DEOMI’s annual total to approximately 1,500 in-resident students since the new facility opened in January 2004.
