  5. Path of thinking: Just as there are always two sides to anything in the world, the computer science, if made wrong use of, would bring more harm to the human society. Once the newest findings of the computer research were held in the hands of such ill-minded people as terrorists or warlike rulers, they would be employed in the manufacture of more deadly weapons, like computer-guided missiles, which will be bound to form a greater threat to the progress of the human society. • If the computer science were held in the hands of bad people, what would happen to the human society? • What would such people use the computer science for? 返回

  6. This will never happen to the human society. For the computer is always a product of the human intelligence rather than a creative master of the latter. As is known to all, any computer, if not equipped with proper machine language programmed by man, can do nothing but consume electricity, which will not form any threat to our society. But on the other hand, any individual who refuses to enrich himself with the computer knowledge will find it hard to survive in the future computer-worked society. In this light, he / she will have to work under the control of computers. Path of thinking: • Is it possible for a product to control its producer? Why? • What would happen to those who know nothing about how to manipulate any computers? 返回
