Lesson Planning Binder: • Need a binder • Cute cover • Should has the theme, your name, period, your teacher’s name and pictures on it • Table of contents • Should be the first thing inside the binder (with actual page numbers for all contents) • Learning Lessons - - - be detailed • Storytelling with any handouts attached to this lesson • Math/Science with any handouts attached to this lesson • Game/Activity with any handouts attached to this lesson • Art Lessons - - - be detailed • Lesson plan #1 with sample art project and typed up directions • Lesson plan #2 with sample art project and typed up directions • Lesson plan #3 with sample art project and typed up directions • Songs - - - creative and go with theme • Power point slide with song #1 • Power point slide with song #1 • Power point slide with song #1 • Grading rubric attached at the end (no page number – but should be indicated in T.O.C.)

Bulletin Board: • Need a poster board • Create a bulletin board on the poster including the following information: • One sample art project • The lyrics to all three songs • Picture of your book for storytelling • Some kind of visual for your math/science lesson • Some kind of visual for your game/activity • Needs to have some kind of border • Should have a creative title (not just the theme) • Use lots of color and stay consistent with the theme • Attach the grading rubric to the back (filled out by you) • Make sure your name, period, and teacher’s name is written on back of your poster (just in case)

  4. Teaching a Lesson: • You will sign up for a lesson of your choice next Wednesday 12/10/08 (first come first serve basis) • There will be limited numbers of storytelling, math/science, and game/activities per class period • You will then pick a date to teach the week after winter break • The teaching will alternate • Every 3rd person (story – math/science – game/activity – story – math/science – game/activity – etc.) • What you will do: • Be the preschool teacher and we will be the children • Have all the supplies you need for your lesson ready ahead of time (plan out over break) • Practice teaching at home or with your friends 4. You should bring your supplies the date you are scheduled to teach and the correct grading rubric
