  7. Create a Power Point that includes your research on sales taxes, wish list, and budget graph. The Power Point must be at least 6 slides. There is no limit. Slide 1—intro. Include a catchy title, your name, and math objectives. (8.3a Students will solve application problems involving percents) Slide 2—research. Write 2-3 paragraphs about the history of sales taxes, Texas tax rates, and your feelings about the necessity of sales taxes. Slide 3—Excel chart of wish list. Decorate with pictures of the items you wish to purchase. Slide 4—Circle graph. Make at least 2 comparisons using the graph. Slide5—Reflections. What did you learn about percents, sale taxes, Excel formulas, and Create-A-Graph during this lesson? Write 4-6 sentences. Slide 6. References. List all websites you used in this project.
