  1. Athena was established to prevent mass shootings; our mission is to save lives. We started Athena by leveraging technology that used existing security cameras and AI software to detect visible weapons. Soon after, we expanded to concealed gun detection through high sensitivity infrared thermal sensors that act as an additional deterrent and additional method of finding concealed objects. Through our Gun Detection Systems, we can help stop crime in its tracks.

  2. Athena has partnered with access control and office management software companies such as Envoy to integrate into companies’ existing badge-in systems. Envoy partners with numerous access control companies such as Kisi, S2, Proxy, Openpath, Brivo, Lenel, and others. We have also partnered with VMS Companies such as Avigilon, Genetec, Milestone, and Salient to integrate with companies’ already-existing VMS system.

  3. Athena sends proactive alerts to the designated officials if an elevated temperature is detected. By integrating with VMS, Access Control, and Office Management Software companies, Athena centralizes all relevant information.

  4. Leveraging 3D LiDAR technology, our People Counting Device is 99% accurate and already calibrated upon arrival. There are no cameras on the sensor, so everyone's privacy is 100% protected since they're anonymous to the device.
