Bellringers

This week’s bell ringer activities focus on vocabulary development. From January 14 to 18, students are tasked with understanding and applying key vocabulary terms in context. Each day includes definitions of words such as "propeller", "forgetful", "repellent", and activities involving synonyms and sentence completion. Monday, January 14 • Write the following vocabulary definitions on your own sheet of paper for the bell work activity. • 1. propeller (noun)- a mechanism with blades used to force something forward • 2. forgettable (adjective)-unworthy of being remembered • 3. extolled (verb)- to be glorified or celebrated • 4. deferment (noun)- the act of delaying or postponing • 5. compelled (verb)- to drive or urge forcefully or irresistibly
