  3. Why I Chose My Animal? I chose my animal because it looks cool.

  4. Appearance Appearance An Indian Rock python has many awesome characteristics. The Indian python is very scaly and has black dots. They are extremely long. It comes in many colors, which allows it to blend in. Using their colors, Indian pythons have a great chance to survive

  5. Habitat Habitat Have you wondered where an Indian python lives? Well, I know where: India and South Asia! They also live in grasslands, wetlands, and forests. They like those places because there is water. They also like trees and swamps or it could live under ground! Also away from us people. Indian pythons might have a great chance of their species’ survival if they stay in these places.

  6. Diet Food An Indian rock python is a carnivore. It eats many things. It eats mammals and birds in the wild. If it can’t, it won’t survive. It eats rats, rodents, lizards, and other snakes. To get its food it must constrict its prey. Remember now, Indian pythons are carnivores.

  7. Family Family An Indian python has a small family. Their family is the boas, pythons, and anacondas. Their mother will leave her babies a few days after hatching and they will have 20-100 eggs. They will hibernate in groups in the winter. With the help of their family, Indian python might have a great chance surviving.

  8. Predator/Prey/A • Predator/Dangers • The Indian python is a threat to some. It is endangered. Other snakes eat it! They hate farming. They don’t like humans (wild ones) and villagers. Indian pythons won’t survive if villagers kill them. Hopefully they stay away!

  9. Interesting • tra Interesting Facts • Ex Here are some interesting facts on the Indian Rock python. They can grow big. Adults are more than 8-17 ft! They’re non-venomous and eat 1 meal per month. They evolved from lizards long ago, scales literally cover their eyes, and they live up to 75 years. People may think Indian pythons are slow but they are as dangerous as any other non-venomous snake. • Remember now, Indian pythons are carnivores.
