Guiette et al 2011; Thresholds & drivers CI in Flanders; Marlet 2010) • Focus groups (policymakers, intermediate organizations, education) • Seminar Sustainable Creative Cities (DuurzameCreatieveSteden, 5/11/2012 Antwerp) • Desk Research

  4. SWOT PROVINCE EAST-FLANDERS Mission Statement • Support the CCI in our province to cope with their main challenges; • So the CCI could flourish as one of the growth sectors in our economy; • In synergy with partners and other policy makers.

SWOT PROVINCE EAST-FLANDERS WEAKNESSES • Pool of talent vs. perception? • Main challenges of the CCI in Flanders Financing Entrepreneurial skills of creative people Scale Outcome new organizational models? Growth from start-up to SME? • Weak subsectors and regions • Limited awareness of policy makers on CCI and possibilities for a CCI policy
