Join Ana and Erica as they explore how to create a fair race with four different runners of varying speeds - Sam, Alex, Jessica, and Max. Learn how each runner's speed impacts their starting point and race time across a 500-meter track.

How to make a race fair? Math project Ana & Erica.
Our project. • Our project is answering the question “ How do you make a fair race?” . We will be using 4 different people with 4 different speeds to answer it. Sam is the fastest runner, he can run (5m/s) while Alex is not as fast, he runs (4m/s) Jessica can only run around (3m/s) Max is the slowest and he can only run about (2m/s).
Information The race is 500 meters Sam starts at the beginning ( takes 10 seconds to do 100m) Alex starts at 300m ( takes 25 seconds to do 100m ) Jessica starts at 325m ( takes 33.3 seconds to do 100m ) Max starts at 400m ( takes him 50 seconds to do 100m ) X = 100/n x 5 N= How fast they are running
