  4. OPENING PARAGRAPH TSP + Theme/Thesis Kenny Chesney’s song There Goes My Lifeexamines the ever-changing emotions people encounter through their lives. Thespeakerdescribes a man who initially regrets losing his dreams when he and his girlfriend face an unexpected pregnancy. The man’s feelings change as he watches the baby grow into a young woman. The speaker suggests that life is often not what we expect it to be, but we can still find a rich sense of happiness and fulfillment.
