What is NTTI? • Public television’s largest professional development initiative for K-12 teachers • Now in its sixteenth year, NTTI is in sites across America, training over 5,000 educators each year • “Teachers teaching teachers,” year-round online and mentoring support, and lesson plan resources to use and share

NTTI Evaluation • 85 percent of teachers surveyed believe that NTTI’s methods significantly improved their classroom instruction. • 94 percent of the teachers found NTTI to be an effective model for training teachers to use the Internet in the classroom. • 98 percent of the teachers found NTTI to be an effective model for training teachers to use video in the classroom. • 94 percent of Institute participants shared information and materials with other teachers.
