2. Viewpoint Birds-eye view A birds eye view comes from above and allows a clear view of the layout. A place that offers a view of something and gives observation. A river from the viewpoint of a bluff.

3. Point of View The point of view is particular way that the cameraman wants the audience to see the shot. Depending on where or how the camera is positioned it will represent the people in the shot in different ways.

4. Depth of Field The distance between the nearest and farthest object in the scene. The sharp focus on one object in the frame to emphasise it to the audience.

5. Selected Focus The focus of the camera, the cameraman can choose one thing in the frame to be sharp and the rest to be blurred out to make the main object of the frame stand out.

6. The Focus Pull It’s a creative camera technique in which you change focus during shot. Usually it means changing focus from one object to another.

7. Defocus The lens intentionally becomes blurred to emphasise a particular emotion, shocking event or disorientation.

8. Rule of Thirds A picture should be split up into nine equal boxes, because it’s said to create more tension, energy and interest in the composition.
