  2. Study Area Overview • Study area covers Del Norte County in northern California • Major communities served: • Crescent City • Gasquet • Smith River • Klamath

  3. Crescent City System Overview • Transmission sources: • Two 115 kV lines from Grants Pass, Oregon • Area substations: • 1 transmission station • 10 distribution stations • Transmission voltage: • 115 kV • 69 kV

  4. Crescent City System Overview • Presently there are no transmission ties with other systems • There is no generation interconnecting on the transmission system within the study area • Winter peaking area

  6. Study Completion • Study completion planned for the end of Q1 2015 • Study results will be presented at the 2015 Attachment K - Q2 Public Meeting
