Dan Cahill returns to face the Vespers, a faction of villains bent on revenge. After a bus flips over, Dan and his sister Amy receive a chilling message: they must steal a valuable painting of Medusa to save a family member. As they navigate danger and deception, they successfully acquire the painting, only to discover it's a fake. With a serious injury to a friend and more at stake than ever, Dan and Amy must regroup and find the real painting before it's too late. Can they outsmart the Vespers and protect their family?

  2. Short Summary • Dan Cahill has spent last summer fighting evil. Now, there back and starting to repopulate, they are the vespers. When there school bus gets flipped over, Dan and his friend Amy, know something is up. They later get a message that they have to steal a picture of medusa. If they fail, one of Dan’s family members will be hurt or killed. Read the rest of the book to find out what happens next.

  4. Climax • Amy and Dan were able to steal the medusa picture. They give it to vesper one. He then says that it is a fake. Amy and Dan has gotten one of Dan’s friend get shot in the shoulder with a pistol, and his cousin, who sadly got shot in the head with a crossbow. Will Amy and Dan pull it together and get the real medusa painting? Read the book to find out.
