Quote: Represents books: • The Dr. Seuss quote represents books and reading, even though hard books are not a new technology, it is still important to have hard books be an important part to the 21st century learner’s life. Some students might not be able to have access to computers or internet but everyone can go to a library and rent a book. Also some students may not be able to read the little print of the internet so it is always important to have other options. • Kendal: • Kendal’s are great for the 21st century learner for many reasons. Games can provide competition between students and help learners follow rules to attain a goal. It also can be a great way for students to learn beyond notes. • Class Room Discussions: • Making sure that students are communicating in the class room is sure to improve the student’s knowledge’s. Discussions can help students exchange ideas and opinions between students and teachers. Now-a-days everything is to be typed so that it is readable, Depending on a student’s handwriting this is very helpful, but one must be able to know how Microsoft works before they can turn anything into a teacher, for the most part. • YouTube: • Having videos at the tip of your finger for the 21st century learner is a great tool to uses. Having the ability to watch and learn from a clip off the internet or getting to watch a part of a movie required for a class can all be found on one web site.
