“Blessed are the Pure in Heart For They Shall See God”. “Blessed are the Pure in Heart For They Shall See God”. Matthew 5:8. Blessed are the Pure in Heart, For They Shall See God. What does it mean to “See God?” Why is the heart so important? I’ve sinned; so, how do I purify my heart?
“Blessed are the Pure in Heart For They Shall See God”
Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?” Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3-5).
He that believeth on the Son hath eternal life; but he that obeyeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him. (John 3:36 ASV).
I have sinned; Therefore, how do I obtain a pure Heart?
