Next Steps • Regional Delivery Plan for Employment & Skills • Facilitation of a Regional Delivery Plan will be aligned strategically with the National Skills Policy covering all funding sources • The plan will identify the region’s skills needs, articulate the collective response and operations to be supported by appropriate investment • The Regional Employment & Skills Framework is comprised of four main ‘themes’ under which priorities will sit: • 1. ACL – Regional Essential Skills • Regional Collaborative Project – European funded • Currently delivering Essential Skills to employed people • Developing collaborative Expression of Interest Form for future delivery of Essential Skills to employed & unemployed including Welsh language element Regional Strategic Planning ~ Local Delivery

RLP – ACL Welsh Language Group • To cover all aspects of education in order to offer advice and support for the RLP - so that the language is included in all aspects of its work • To undertake extensive marketing of employers and future learners to fully recognise the value of Welsh medium and bilingual qualifications to their business - in particular the eight sectors mentioned in the WG report Regional Strategic Planning ~ Local Delivery
